About Us

A. Cookes was started by Alfred Cooke in 1899. Alfred Cooke is the great grandfather of the current owners. Mike Boughton takes great pride in his work. 

The business moved to the premises at 48 Goldhawk Road, Shepherds Bush in 1934 although there had been a pie shop there since before 1891.

Sadly, A. Cooke's closed it's doors at the shop on July 25th 2015, however we are determined to still continue the tradition started by A. Cooke and now offer an online frozen delivery service of the same quality food.

Orders placed Monday to Thursday before 1pm will be with you by 5.30pm the following day. There is currently no Saturday deliveries so any orders placed lafter 1pm on Thursday or Friday will go out the following Monday.
